With the new Outlander out and the Evo coming, one should not overlook the sexy, affordable and powerful Eclipse Spyder. That's according to Daniel Barron, who reviews the car in the Toronto Sun. He says it is a fully capable machine that is ready to tear up the asphalt but is also well built and attractive. He also praises its interior and exhaust note.

"Sexy Spyder gets by on looks"
The Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder looks like a supercar and just screams to be driven to a beach, contends Karl Perkons. In the Winnipeg Sun (June 27/08, A4), he reports on a 1,200 km trip in an Eclipse and says the car "has some grunt" and proved to be a lot of fun. He concludes "the Eclipse is the hottest-looking car in its segment".

However, considering what else is available in the segment for the same price, he states it is not a bad deal at all.
