The history of Mitsubishi Motors Sales of Canada illustrates a unique organization that fosters an environment of innovation, diversity and ambition. From its early days of entering the Canadian market in 2002, the company has been able to expand to have 97 dealerships across the country from Vancouver Island to St. John’s. Along the way, Mitsubishi has stayed true to its Japanese heritage which continues to be the foundation of the success it has today.

The Mitsubishi Motors team was also joined by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, and representatives from the two companies were on the main stage at one point simultaneously representing the legendary Mitsubishi Group of companies. Mitsubishi was joined by numerous other Japanese brands such as Canon, Fujifilm and Panasonic, allowing everyone to come together with the unique goal of embracing Japanese culture and connecting with the local community.

At the festival, numerous members of the MMSCAN team had the opportunity to connect with consumers and share their love and passion for both old and new Mitsubishi vehicles. As the group conquered some rainy weather throughout the weekend, they joined festival attendees in singing and dancing along to the songs on the stage; meanwhile providing insight and answering queries about the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV that was being displayed at the event.

The team was happy to answer questions about the unique features and flexibility that comes along with the Outlander PHEV. Also on display was a 2024 Outlander gas model. As the Official All-Weather Vehicle of The Weather Network, the wrapped blue and yellow Outlander stood proud throughout the weekend.

Despite some occasionally nasty weather, it was a wonderful weekend to be a part of. As we continue to celebrate our Japanese culture and heritage, Mitsubishi Motors will remain proud to bring its authentic self to the Canadian market.
